You Can Change Lives

Donation Information

You are why people with intellectual and developmental disabilities will no longer be dependent but will be valuable members of their community. You can join in this world-changing journey by using your generosity and caring to improve lives.

Individual Donations

Your donation transforms lives for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You ensure they have meaningful, productive, socially connected lives in their home community.

Your generosity keeps programs accessible to everyone with low fees and fee waivers. All donations directly support programs.

Your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our Place also ensures that your online contributions are secure. We never share your personal information with anyone.

Maximize your impact by becoming a monthly donor today.

Honor or Remembrance Gifts

Transforming lives for Our Place participants is a thoughtful way to remember a loved one, pay tribute to a friend, or mark a special occasion. Tribute gifts are reported to the person honored so they know of your generosity.

Matching Gifts

Many companies offer matching gift programs, allowing you to multiply the impact of your generosity. By taking just a few minutes to check if your employer participates, you can help us provide even more opportunities for those we serve.

Gifts of Appreciated Securities

Your gift of appreciated securities helps our participants lead full lives in their community and brings tax benefits to you and your family. If you plan to donate securities, please let us know of your intentions so we can provide the necessary information to ensure the donation arrives in the right place, safely. If you plan to make a gift of securities, please contact Heather Williamson, Development Manager, at hwilliamson@ourplaceofnewtrier.org

IRA Gifts

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals who are 70½ years old or older to donate up to $100,000 total to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions. If you decide to distribute a charitable gift from your IRA, ensure that your IRA's custodian transfers it directly from the IRA to Our Place. It is important not to withdraw funds before a gift. If you plan to make a gift from your IRA, please contact Heather Williamson, Development Manager, at hwilliamson@ourplaceofnewtrier.org

Planned Giving

Through a planned gift, you can support Our Place participants well into the future. You also receive lifetime benefits important to your financial future by including Our Place in your will. Planned gifts include bequests, gifts of retirement plan assets, and other assets. Heather Williams, Development Manager, can answer your questions and guide you through the process at hwilliamson@ourplaceofnewtrier.org
