Amy moved with her family to Chicago in 2010 from North Carolina as a mom of 2 under 3. She used her Master’s in Accounting to volunteer with local non-profits as time allowed. She now has a freshman at UIUC and a junior at the Cove school, and has been able to work at some of those same non-profits as well as area small businesses. Her commitment to the disability community is rooted in her personal family journey and all of the amazing people she has met along the way.
