Main Program Highlights

  • 3 sessions per day:
    • Morning – 9am to 12pm; Early Afternoon – 12pm to 3pm; Late Afternoon – 3pm to 6pm
  • Wide range of participant choice:
    • Diverse range of programs each day: work, life skills, creative expression, fitness, and social
    • All of our programs emphasize the development of social competencies
    • Sign up for the session and then participants select their preferred activities
  • Fitness options include:
    • Ballroom dancing at the Ballroom Dance Center on Monday
    • Bowling on Monday and Thursday
    • Swim at the Northbrook Y on Tuesday
    • “Four Corners”- a high intensity interval fitness program
    • Fitness classes at Wilmette Rec five throughout the week
    • Basketball at the Takiff Center on Friday
  • Lunch & healthy snacks provided every day
  • AMASE Choir – The program with be partnering with Evanston High School Transition House for a choir program. There will be a concert at the end of the session.
  • Transition Group:
    • A specific program geared towards our participants who are in the 16-21 age group
  • Saturday Socials held every week, with dinner, dessert & dancing
